OPEN FACE APPLE PIE


Tis the season to bake and bake and bake some more! Ive decided that today I was going to make some apple pie. I only had one pie shell so it had to be an open face apple pie. It turned out amazing and I vlogged about it here, and decided to post the recipe here!

Open Face Apple Pie

Ingredients 
6 Cups Peeled apple slices
3/4 Cups Sugar
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg (Optional)
1/8 Tsp Salt
One thin pie shell
1/4 Cup Brown sugar
1/4 Cup Flour
2 Tbs Melted Butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit
Mix brown sugar, flour, and butter together with apple slices, then fill pie shell with mixture. Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together and sprinkle over the pie. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until apples are tender.
