Vintage Furniture

In one week I am moving into a condo. It is really exciting to me because this means I get to redecorate a brand new space for myself. I absolutely love re-decorating, organizing, and changing around rooms. I went shopping last night to get ideas and to pick up a few final touches for my room. I completely put my room together from scratch. I picked out my color, picked out my bed, kept a few of my original pieces because they went very well with my decor. Once my room is all put together I will be posting pictures of it. The theme I went with for my room is a very vintage-girly space. My walls are all pale pink and my ceiling and trim is white. All of my furniture is white and I have a gorgeous diamond chandelier. Ever since I started to create my room and started getting ideas I realized how infatuated I am with old style/vintage furniture. On a recent trip I took to Vermont I came across a antique/thrift store. It was so awesome. There I found a turquoise rustic looking jewelry box with mirror. It sort of looks like a mini vanity. I am really excited to incorporate this piece in my room. I'm not going to post any pictures yet, I am going to wait until my room is completely finished and then I will do a picture tour. I think that antique and thrift shops are some of the best places to shop, there are so many treasures you can come across! Here are some pictures that inspire me.
