New Bedroom Part 1

This is going to be all about my new room at my moms condo. We are moving Friday and I couldn't be happier. We already have the keys and have been going back and fourth for about a month now. I love this idea because it gives me a lot of time to get my room finished and decorated before most of my furniture comes. I was only going to show pictures of my room completely finished but I decided to start taking pictures and posting them to show how I am decorating and organizing everything. Here are some pictures of what everything looks like so far!

I really love the white closet doors, they are really big and perfect! They both open evenly and gives plenty of space for a lot of things.

So this is my closet so far (Keep in mind I only move in Friday so everything is still a bit messy and unpacked.) This closet is about four times bigger then the size of my closet currently, how excited am I! I started by unpacking some sweaters and I decided to put them in order of color. I started with black and continued trough all the way to white. I find this a much better idea because it is easier to find what item you are looking for. Again, my last closet was not big enough to do this!

I picked up six storage bins for the top shelf today at the dollar store. I have been looking everywhere and I couldn't find exactly what I wanted except at the dollar store! Two of the bins are short and what I put in them are all of my candles. The other four big bins have magazines, school books, and miscellaneous things. Then I have a couple of storage boxes as you can see in the far left (I only put one up so far.) 

This is my new bed that I purchased from Ikea, I love it so much! I love how it has the detailing on the head board. My end table are also from Ikea I am not too sure if I am going to keep them but for now they do perfectly fine. I also picked up four decorative pillows. The two teal ones are from Winners/Home Sense, the medium pink ones are from Home Depot, and the mini pink one is from Deco Deco Verte. Decorative pillows are usually very pricey and it just hurts me to pay thirty dollars for one pillow so I did some bargain hunting and got all five of these pillows for only forty five dollars! As you can see my walls are a pale pink with all white trim; Baseboards, Ceiling, windows.

Here is another shot of my bed from the entrance to my room. I am going to make the sides of my bed identical.

This is my chandelier (Sorry for the horrible quality of this picture but it was pretty dark out.) It is just a simple three light chandelier from Ikea that I picked up for fifty dollars. I really like simple but elegant pieces!

This is my window. I love it I think it is the perfect size. My plans for this window is a white roller blind and white sheer curtains to go over. I already have complete light coverage with the roller blind so I wanted to go very sheer and simple. I have two decorative knobs that I picked up at Anthropologie to hold my curtains back. They are big teal flowers. I hope you enjoyed these pictures and my ideas for my new room! Part two is on its way!
